Understanding Teleprompters
Types of teleprompters:
There are two primary types of teleprompters:
1. Broadcast for video and film (through-the-lens).
2. Presidential (Public Speaking), for corporate meetings or any public speaking event.
Our broadcast prompting service package includes one full through-the-lense prompter set, with configurations for mounting the prompter on its own stand in front of the camera. For motion shots, we carry a standard mounting plate for the prompter to attach to the camera tripod itself. Also included are two laptop computers (one backup), a backup prompter monitor, and the teleprompter technician, as well as all necessary power and video cables for the use of the teleprompter.
With configurations for just about every situation, you can shoot directly through the prompter glass (through-the-lens), or you may choose to have the prompter off-camera for an interview style.
Our Presidential service package is a full package that includes everything you need to give a podium- or presidential-style speech. Included are three monitors (one backup), Presidential-style glass teleprompters, two laptop computers (one backup), all necessary power and video cables, as well as the teleprompter technician.
